Pin the arms and legs to the doll to determine where they look and

hang the best. Decide whether you will have thumbs and toes point in

towards the body, or out.

 Once you have the arms and legs positioned

with pins and they hang hang nice, sew them on.

I sew the arms onto my dolls kind of like I would sew

on a button. Hopefully you can see from the picture that

I just go from left to right a few times with heavy thread,

and then knot and trim the ends. I think sewing the arms

on like this leaves them the freedom to hang nicely. If you

prefer, you can sew the arms on more like I sew legs on. (below)

Leave the legs pinned on and sew around the top of the leg,

starting on the right side and going up and across the top and to

the left. Knot and trim the ends of the thread.
